◇ The relocation marks a historic return in 25 years as the company had once been situated in the building after it was first designated as Korea's first general trading company

On November 13th, Samsung C&T Trading & Investment Group (hereinafter “Samsung C&T”) relocated its Seoul office from KORVA Tower in Songpa-gu to Samsung main building (Sejong-daero 67) in Jung-gu.

Adjacent to the City Hall and Gwanghwamun, the company's new Seoul office is located in the central business district that is packed with offices of various companies. In fact, the new office building is where Samsung C&T had been situated for 23 years from 1976, not long after it was designated as Korea's first general trading company in 1975, to 1998. Hence, the recent relocation marks a meaningful return to where corporate history lies after 25 years.

Meanwhile, Samsung C&T is delivering robust growth on the back of its business strategy to narrow and strengthen focus by revamping its business structure and reinforcing business fundamentals in a bid to boost profitability. Moving forward, the company aims to boost trading of key industrial materials and develop eco-friendly businesses.
