Samsung C&T Southeast Asia & Oceania(SEA & O) and Jakarta Office visited Yayasan Sayap Ibu (Mother’s Wing Foundation) to meet and help needy neighbors in September. They delivered the donations including diapers, milk, school supplies, first-aid kits, and toys. In addition to the donations in kind, they made monetary contributions using the support fund of the company and the voluntary donations of the members of Samsung C&T SEA & O and Jakarta Office.
Founded in 1954, Yayasan Sayap Ibu is being operated using government subsidy and contributions from the general public. The institution not only accommodates and protects more than 40 orphans and children with brain damage but also provides medical treatment and education, and offers medical services and meals for over 100 children and adolescents of the community who are in need of help.
Senior Professional Kusumawati Carla, Samsung C&T SEA & O said “Our company is willing to share and spend time with the needy children in the community. We visited and gave donations to less privileged children. I felt good after helping arrange this activity.”
